C. E. Weldon Public Library is blessed to have a wonderful meeting room where we can host events and programs such as Mommy and Me and our Christmas Open House. The room can seat 60 people comfortably and has several amenities such as a piano, projector, lectern, and a tv with DVD and VHS player. When it is not in use for library events it is generally available for people to sit and read or study. Certain groups can also reserve the room for events or meetings. To check your group event's eligibility please read the "Other Groups" section of our Meeting Room Policies. All events must be scheduled at least a week in advance and reservations are taken on a first-come/first-serve basis. To use the room each group must have read and agree to abide by the Meeting Room Policies and must fill out the Meeting Room Reservation Request Form. For those groups who have been approved to have an event outside of our normal operating hours the Library Key Responsibility Form must also be filled out and turned in.
Please call 731-587-3148 to ask for room availability. Print, fill out and return the following forms to register your group's event. You may fax the forms to 731-587-4574, or deliver them in person.
