Homeschool Programs

We are now dedicating Wednesday mornings to our local homeschool families. As always, homeschool children and families are welcome to attend ALL of our programs, including those held during traditional after school hours. We strive to create inclusive programming for the enrichment of all of our patrons.

Studio 100 - Homeschool Art Class

Studio 100 is our art class specifically for homeschool students and meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10 AM. Join Ms. Jessie as she explores a different artist and technique each class. Learn about the styles of artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh and more. There will be an art show displaying the creations at the end of the fall and spring semesters. This class is intended for students in Kindergarten through 12th grades.

Lunchtime Lit

Revisit the classics or experience them for the first time with your family! We will meet on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for discussion. Bring your lunch and join us! Call or come by the library for the title list of each month’s selection. If you do not have personal copies of each month’s selection, books may be checked out from the library or on a reading device for free! This is a family discussion time. If you feel your family is not ready for the month’s selection, please feel free to skip it and try the next one!

SPANISH CLASS - Made with PosterMyWall.jpg

Spanish Class

Learn basic vocabulary in a conversational style on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 10 AM. Students will be encouraged to repeat words and/or phrases as well as practice speaking with each other. Worksheets will offer practice with spelling and vocabulary comprehension. This is a fun, interactive class geared toward children in 1st through 12th grades. As always, if you feel your child is ready to begin learning at an earlier age, please speak with us and we will do what we can to help!
